Netflix has lined up a reunion of three episodes of “Love Is Blind” to provide an update on couples and singles from season 1, the film announced on Thursday.
Entitled “Love is Blind: After the Altar”, the three new episodes will see (almost) the entire season 1 season reunite for an anniversary party to celebrate Amber and Barnett and Lauren and Cameron.
According to Netflix, “For three episodes, connect with your favorite couples and singles as they settle into their daily lives in Atlanta. How will Amber and Barnett feel when they see Jessica? Will Diamond and Carlton ever make corrections? Who can make a surprise appearance? And who will not even show up at the party because of all the drama that has happened in the last two years? After all, when it comes to love, the experiment never ends. “
Season 1 of “Love Is Blind” was a hit on Netflix when it debuted last February, marking an early breakthrough in the streamer dating genre. Last year, Netflix renewed the show for two more seasons along with “The Circle”, another of the streamer’s hits.
“After the Altar” is set to premiere on Wednesday, July 28 on Netflix. Chris Coelen, Ally Simpson, Eric Detwiler, Brent Gauches and Heather Crowe act as executive producers in the Kinetic Content series.
